Sorry to hear that, oliver
I always thought the saying below was pretty cool
it pretty much sums up dogs in general:
"Near this spot are deposited the remains of one who possessed Beauty without Vanity, Strength without Insolence, Courage without Ferocity, and all the Virtues of Man without his Vices. This praise, which would be unmeaning Flattery, if inscribed over human ashes, is but a tribute to the Memory of a Dog".

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Through your grief try to remember animals grieve too, give Truman a little bit extra love. A big bear hug from me.
I'm very sorry to hear about Boo, Oliver. It's so sad; he was doing so well. Still, he had a good run, had time to impart his wisdom to both young Bug and Truman, and died surrounded by love. Can't ask for much more. Take care.
Soo sorry. Don't fret though, he has gone to doggy heaven where the streets are paved with liv-a-snaps and every toy squeeks. Hopefully he will be reincarnated as some world leader and impart all the love, discipine and understanding you taught him to the world. Take care!

So very sorry for your loss. I know firsthand how heartbreaking it is. I had to make the agonizing decision to let mine go the day before Christmas. Still can't bring myself to write or talk about it.
Rotti's are definitely in a league all by themselves and unless you've ever owned one, people just don't know. They're big babies that are born to be spoiled rotten.
Thank you for giving him a wonderful, long life!
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember being torn up reading your posts about his chemo. I hope that his passing was as comfortable and pain free as possible.
I'm sorry to hear it, Oliver. He was a sweet dog.

What shocking news, but nice to see Thought Not back in the RSS reader.
We're very glad you shared the joy of Boo with us!
