Loving the Diaries. It's funny -- there is this idea among gay men that we create a lot of drama for ourselves. Reading the Warhol Diaries just reminds me that all people create a lot of drama.

Bianca was there. I thought she'd already left for Paris. She was saying out loud everything that I was thinking -- what two bitches (redacted) and (redacted) were -- and she said -- at least (redacted) can be funny sometimes.
This is the best read ever. It's like an 807 page issue of Page Six.
Your enthusiasm made me go out and buy another copy on half.com so I could relive those heady days (even though I wasn’t old enough to actually live them the first time around). Thanks.

when dysfunction is en vogue....drama attempts to permeate every crevice -- one's particular branding, if so, is quite irrelevant....it's just that some people really don't do runway.

i read the whole thing cover to cover my first year of college, and nobody could understand why i loved it so much. tip: it's the best next-to-the-toilet book ever.
