you have GOT to be kidding.

scott

Perhaps if you got rid of that gas pig SUV that you are so proud of and that you've tricked out to look like it just came from a 50 Cent video you would not be needing to whore around for donations.

Plus, I thought you were "rich".

So I thought this entry was a joke and a nice little PBS spoof. Proceeded to click on the 'make a donation' button and expect to be taken to a funny link or a 'Thanks for the generous spirit but I don't need the money' sort of page, yet oddly enough it links to an actual PayPal account set up by the author?

Are you really hurting for money? Has the kitchen renovation, the custom-made iPod earphones and the numerous travel excursions tapped you out? I mean I can throw a few bucks your way if times are tough... I guess I just didn't know things were going badly...

(Truth be told I have never met the author, so I am basing this totally on information on this site and from others)

Stan

See, New York Executive Law Section 172-d, and any amended version.

MP

I don't see that NYEL 172-d applies, Stan, given that Thought Not is not a registered charitable organization (unless you think the solicitation is, in addition to being tacky and embarrassing, fraudulent or misleading). Donation proceeds would simply be taxable as personal income. However, I don't give legal advice away for free, and I certainly wouldn't want to deprive Mr. Cahill of his billables.

Boozhy is officially boycotting the "Thoughtnot Pledge Drive" for a large number of labor related infractions. Click onto Boozhy to read how Thoughtnot is compromising the American Dream.

I ruv you Orrie.

XO (lots of them)

A little tacky maybe?

Tom

You should be more direct and say "Help me buy these cool $900 headphones!"

Paypal accepted!

Corey

PIZZA!!!

Josh Feldman

For some reason I couldn't stop laughing when I read the "update." It was definitely worth a dollar...

Richard

Ok, if you don't fix the link to paypal soon, I'm giving my money to Perez Hilton.

I BELIEVE IN YOU OLIVER !!! I JUST DONATED $400 !!!!! ---a.j.
